Macdonald, David Norman Maclaurin, age 67, passed away in Lindsay, ON on Monday, February 17, 2025.
Dave was predeceased by his parents Norman and Irene Macdonald. Dave is survived by the love of his life Bonnie Hart. Dear brother of Jon, Paula (Dan), and Drew (Adriana). Uncle of Ryan (Rachel), Jason (Andrea), Justin (Jordan), Bill, and Mike (Louana). Dave will be missed by Tommy, Mike and Phil and many other dear friends.
Dave was a rock ‘n’ roll aficionado and a serious vinyl collector. His passion for rock ‘n’ roll was fueled by his working as a disc jockey in the 70’s at C.F.Y.N. in Sault Ste. Marie. Dave was also an avid sports fan with his favorite team being the Cleveland Indians. Dave never forgave them for changing their name to the Guardians.
In keeping with Dave’s wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be a celebration of life at a later date. If desired, a memorial donation to the Ross Memorial Hospital Foundation – Palliative Care Unit would be greatly appreciated by the family.
