Obituary of Clarence Allison
A resident of Chatham, Clarence Allison passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on Monday, March 10, 2025 at Blenheim Community Nursing Home at the age of 85.
He was the son of the late Robert & Eva (nee Essery) Allison.
Dear brother to Murray Allison (late Roseanne) of Chatham, and Ronald Allison of Chatham. Predeceased by his brothers, William (Bill) Allison, Raymond Allison and sisters, Donna Salisbury (late Ed) and Helen Cyr (Armand).
Survived by sister-in-law, Ruthanne Allison
Missed by many nieces, nephews & extended family and friends.
Longtime friend of Brian Thompson, Wayne Hasson and Ross Hale.
Clarence retired from Southwest Regional Centre as a Disability Service Worker for many years. He was an active member of Thames Christian Fellowship for many years. Clarence enjoyed spending time watching Chatham Maroons & the Toronto Maple Leaf games with his brothers and friends. Clarence will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to the staff of Blenheim Community Nursing Home, and Dr. Martha Clendenning for their continuing care and compassion during Clarence’s time there.
Family to receive friends at Thames Christian Fellowship, 400 Park Ave E, Chatham from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm. Visiting will resume at 1:30 pm until a Celebration of Clarence’s Life at 2:00 pm. Cremation to follow.
In memory of Clarence, donations may be made to the Thames Christian Fellowship.
