Peacefully at the Kings County Memorial
Hospital, the passing of Chester “Junior” Angus MacSwain,
age 91, of Peters Road, occurred on Thursday, January 9, 2025, with
family by his side. Loving husband of the late Phyllis (Nicholson)
MacSwain. Born in Greek River, October 1, 1933, son of the late
Chester L. and Effie (Graham) MacSwain. Survived by son James (Brenda)
MacSwain; cherished grandchildren Nigel (Courtney) MacSwain, Michaela
(Wes) MacSwain, Aaron Lanigan, Kate Lanigan; nieces Marlee (George)
Workman , Valerie (Ronnie) Gallant; and nephew Lynn (Darlene)
MacSwain. Predeceased by brothers Edward, Lester (Norma), Harold
(Eileen), Bill (Mabel), Graham (Edith), and Blair
(Ruth).
No visitation by personal request.
Graveside Service to take place in Peters Road Cemetery at a later
date.

Campbell, Dr. Verleun, Home Care Workers, all the Nursing Staff and
Hospital Staff at KCMH for their tremendous care of Chester
“Jr” during his most recent illness and throughout the
