Bruce William Veinotte, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 19th, 2025 at South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater.
Born in Lunenburg on February 11th, 1962, he was the son of the late Paul and Olive (Rhuland) Veinotte.
Bruce worked in grocery retail starting at an early age. His career began at Rhuland Save Easy, Mahone Bay then proceeded to work at Sobey’s, Bridgewater and for the last 25 years, Atlantic Superstore, Bridgewater. You would routinely find him working in produce during the fall and winter months and in the garden center in spring and summer.
Bruce is survived by Aunt Elizabeth “Bea” (Tom) Spinney, Wentzell Lake, NS, devoted cousin Mary (Jonathan) Crouse, New Canada, NS, their children, James and William who were very special to Bruce along with several other cousins.
Bruce was predeceased by his parents and brother, Jeffrey Veinotte.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the Dana :L. Sweeny Funeral Home, 11213 Hwy 3, Lunenburg.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, January 28th, 2025 at 11:00 am at Park Cemetery, Mahone Bay, Rev. Dr. Patti Brace officiating.
