Boyd’s Obituary
Brydon, Boyd Earl – 87, of South Williamston, Annapolis Co. passed away Thursday, February 6, 2025 in Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in Burlington, Kings Co., he was predeceased by parents Earl and Thelma (Pineo) Brydon and wife Lucilla (Neville) Brydon. He was a talented carpenter who could fix or make anything he turned his hand to, and as a teacher of Industrial Arts, had a positive impact on the many students he taught over the years. He enjoyed fishing, farming, and most of all weight lifting. Surviving are his partner of 22 years, Carole Baltzer, South Williamston; daughters Mary (Gary) Bishop, St. John’s, NL; Linda Brydon, Calgary, AB; Ruth (David) Kwantes, Bedford, NS; grandchildren James (Samantha) Bishop, Goulds, NL; Neil Bishop, Saint John, NB; Rachelle Brydon, St. John’s, NL; and great grandchildren Savannah and Alexis. In keeping with Boyd’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held in the spring in Whitman Cemetery, Lawrencetown. Arrangements have been entrusted to Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main Street, 1-855-825-3448. Donations in memory may be made to any animal welfare group, the Alzheimer’s Society or Canadian Association of Psoriasis Patients.
