Obituary of Audrey Margaret Wright
Audrey Margaret Wright Age 81, passed away February 11, 2025 at Andrews of Stratford with members of her family by her side. Born in Montreal, PQ, she was the daughter of the late Charles James and Mary Bernice (Chappell) O’Brien.
Audrey was a devoted wife to the late James ‘Hap’ Wright, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and grandmother. She loved her family and especially treasured her grandchildren. Audrey was gentle, kind and strong. She especially enjoyed her daily walks and could be found at any time with a smile on her face. She will be forever loved and cherished by her grandchildren. Her kindness, infinite love, strength and integrity will live on in the hearts of those who were lucky enough to know her.
Audrey is survived by her daughter Lynn (Cameron) Olscamp and sons Bob Wright (Halifax) and Bill Wright (Montreal), her sisters Maureen (Tony) Roberts, Theresa (Andy) Anderson and brother Terry O’Brien, and sister-in-law Florence O’Brien. She was the loving grandmother of Zoe, Penny, Ramona, Ronan and Ethan.
Audrey was predeceased by her husband James ‘Hap’ Wright and her brothers Jimmy, Marty and Michael (Florence) O’Brien, her sister Dolores O’Rourke (Frank) and sister-in-law Monique O’Brien.
Special thanks to all the staff at Andrews of Stratford who helped take unbelievable care of Audrey over the past 9 years. Audrey appreciates all of you.
A celebration of life for family and friends will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Alzheimer’s Society.
