Aileen peacefully passed with her family by her side at the Mill Creek Care Centre in Barrie on Friday, April 18th, 2025, at the age of 90 years. She was the beloved wife of the late Reginald “Reg” (2011), married for 54 years. Aileen was a loving mother of Dave and Dan, mother-in-law of Anna and Margaret, and proud grandmother of Chloe and Cali. She will be remembered and sincerely missed by extended family members and dear friends.
Aileen lived a beautiful life, full of love and laughter with her family and friends. She will be remembered for her generosity and kindness, always going the extra mile for her loved ones, serving as a devoted member of the church, and always being the first to give a treat to any dog she encountered.
Friends are invited to join the family at the St. John Vianney Church, 13 Baldwin Lane., Barrie on Thursday, April 24th, 2025, for a Funeral Mass at 11 am. Interment will immediately follow at the St. Mary’s Cemetery, 208 Sunnidale Rd., Barrie. Reception will follow within the Hall of the St. John Vianney Parish. Those who do not wish to attend the interment can proceed directly into the Church Hall to await the families return from the cemetery.
