C’est avec le cœur lourd que la famille annonce son décès paisible auprès du Seigneur, le lundi 24 février 2025 à l’âge de 95 ans. Fille aimante de feu Aldège et de feue Caroline (née Beaulieu) Paquette. Épouse dévouée de feu Aurel Martel. Mère bien-aimée de Suzanne Hébert (André). Grand-mère chérie de Julie Hébert (Julie Lachapelle) et Marc Hébert. Chère soeur de Royal (Paulette), Lorraine (feu Mitch), Gaetanne (Lawrence), André et Carmen (Armand). Prédécédée par ses autres frères et soeurs : Hervé, Jean-Paul, Paul (feue Jeannette), Maurice, Denise, Diane et Jean-Guy (Carole). Elle sera également regrettée par plusieurs nièces, neveux, parents et amis, qui se souviendront d’elle avec amour. Adrienne était une femme profondément spirituelle, ayant une grande foi dans le pouvoir de la Croix. Sa gracieuse hospitalité était appréciée par tous les membres de la famille et les amis, car le café était toujours servi. Sa fille Suzanne était son ange infirmière aimante et attentionnée. En tant que grand-maman, elle choyait ses petits-enfants Julie et Marc. Elle laisse à sa famille des trésors de photos, de vidéos, de CD musicaux et des écrits de souvenirs inoubliables. Adrienne a été une enseignante dévouée pendant 25 ans. Elle était bénévole dans de nombreux groupes d’entraide. Elle laisse derrière elle un héritage riche d’amour, de générosité et de foi. Sa bataille courageuse jusqu’au bout contre la démence a inspiré tous ceux qui l’ont connue. On se souviendra d’Adrienne comme une chrétienne bienveillante au cœur tendre. La famille souhaite exprimer sa gratitude au personnel du pavillon 2 du Manoir des Pionniers pour les soins incroyables qu’ils lui ont prodigués et remercier du fond du cœur Antonella, son auxiliaire de vie depuis six ans, pour ses soins, sa compassion et sa bonté de cœur. Un merci spécial à Dr. St.Martin et à ses collègues qui travaillent sans relâche à la maison de soins infirmiers. La famille recevra les parents et amis à la Coopérative funéraire, 4690 R.R 15, Chelmsford, le mercredi 5 mars 2025 de 13 h à 17 h. Un service funéraire aura lieu le jeudi 6 mars 2025 à 11 h dans la chapelle à la Coopérative funéraire, Chelmsford. Une cérémonie d’inhumation privée pour la famille et les amis à une date ultérieur. Des dons de charité à la Société Alzheimer, par chèque ou en ligne, seraient grandement appréciés.
It is with heavy hearts that the family announces her peaceful passing to be with the Lord, on Monday, February 24, 2025 at the age of 95 years. Loving daughter of the late Aldège and late Caroline (née Beaulieu) Paquette. Devoted wife of the late Aurel Martel. Beloved mother to Suzanne Hébert (André). Cherished grandmother to Julie Hébert (Julie Lachapelle) and Marc Hébert. Dear sister to Royal (Paulette), Lorraine (late Mitch), Gaetanne (Lawrence), André and Carmen (Armand). Predeceased by her other siblings: Hervé, Jean-Paul, Paul (late Jeannette), Maurice, Denise, Diane and Jean-Guy (Carole). She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Adrienne was a woman of prayer, having a great faith in the power of the Cross. Her gracious hospitality was appreciated by all family and friends, as coffee was always on. Her daughter Suzanne was her loving caring nurse angel. As a grand-maman, she pampered her grandchildren Julie and Marc. She leaves her family with treasures of photos, videos, musical CD’s and writings of unforgettable memories. Adrienne was a devoted teacher for 25 years. She volunteered in many self-help groups. She leaves behind a rich legacy of love, generosity and faith. Her courageous battle to the end with dementia inspired all those who knew her. Adrienne will be remembered as a caring Christian with a gentle heart. The family wishes to extend their gratitude towards the staff in Lodge 2 at Pioneer Manor for their incredible care and a heartfelt thank you to Antonella, her PSW of 6 years for her care, compassion and kind heart. Special thanks to Dr. St. Martin and his colleagues who work timelessly at the nursing home. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Cooperative Funeral Home, 4690 R.R 15, Chelmsford, on Wednesday, March 5, 2025 from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 6, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel at the Cooperative Funeral Home, Chelmsford. A private burial ceremony for family and friends will be held at a later date. Charitable donations to the Alzheimer Society by cheque or online would be greatly appreciated.
