David Wheatley, age 76, of Fauquier, B.C. passed away peacefully on January 29, 2025.
He was Sheet Metal Mechanic by trade and carried his love for creating with metal and woodworking throughout his life. Whether creating intricate metal sculptures or crafting beautiful pieces of furniture, Dave’s hand shaped more than just materials – they shaped the lives of those around him.
His warm presence and quick humor will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Dave was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend and he loved the life we built together raising our family and living in Fauquier for 47 years.
He leaves behind his wife Gloria, daughter Nicole (Kevin, granddaughter Brooklyn), his son Joel (Ally, granddaughters Ayva, Indie-Rose), 3 brothers, 1 sister, 4 nephews, 8 nieces.
We would like to extend many thanks to Dr. Courchesne for his kindness and compassionate care, as well as the Health Care Team, Pharmacy and medical clinic for the excellent care they provided.
“Though Dave may no longer be with us, his love, kindness and memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him”.
