1950-2025
Joseph Charles Cronkhite of Nackawic and Woodstock, NB passed away
February 23, 2025 at the Upper River Valley Hospital. He was born on
November 16, 1950, the son of the late Arnold E. and Barbara (Grant)
Cronkhite.
Joseph was a dedicated employee for over 45 years at the Nackawic Pulp
Mill. He was known for his caring spirit and active lifestyle such as
skiing, curling, dancing and volleyball. Finding joy in coaching and
watching his children and grandchildren playing sports. He enjoyed
being on the road and never missed an opportunity to visit his family.
Joseph was a life member of Granite Masonic Lodge # 54.
He is survived by his children, Danielle Kinjerski (Kris), Peter
Cronkhite (Amanda), Caitlin Cronkhite (Justin) and Kyle Cronkhite
(Jessica); grandchildren, Kaden, Kohen, Kaleigha, Hendrik, Georgina,
Carson and Lettie; a sister Susan Peterson (Dale); a brother-in-law,
Wayne Cronkhite; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Joseph was predeceased by his parents; a sister Jo Ann Cronkhite and a
granddaughter Lena Rose.
Visiting hours will be held at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis
Drive, Nackawic, NB on Friday, February 28, 2025 from 12 noon until 2
pm followed by a service at 2 pm. Interment will be held at a later
date at the Otis Cemetery.
For those who wish to make a donation in memory of Joseph, the family
has suggested the Otis Cemetery or a charity of the donor’s
choice.
A heartfelt thank you to all the nurses and workers who cared for our
dad over the last few years.
