Obituary of Marjorie Cowley
Peacefully passed away at the Sault Area Hospital on Friday, January 17, 2025 at the age of 91. Wife of the late Gerry. Dearly loved mother of the late Barry Rusnell (Betty), Dale Godfrey (Paul), late Gerry Cowley (Joanne), Kim Hankinson (late Rob), Doug Cowley and Todd Cowley (Lianne McLeod). Proud grandmother of 12, great grandmother of 13 and great great grandmother of one. Daughter of the late Edna and the late Walter Vivian.
Friends and family are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Rd, 705-945-7758) on Sunday, January 26, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Funeral Service in the Chapel on Monday, January 27, 2025 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Jeremy Edgar officiating. Memorial donations to the SAH Foundation or the Canadian Lung Association would be greatly appreciated by the family.
A sincere thank you to Dr. Hemy from the Group Health Centre and Jennifer Hendrie, Family Health Nurse (Group Health) who was always only a phone call away and visited mom countless times at home. They were both so kind and caring. A heartfelt thank you to the staff and volunteers at the Sault Area Hospital for the exceptional care and compassion given to our family.
