William “Bill” Hayward
October 7th, 1957 – July 27th, 2023
It is with great sadness that the family of the late William Hayward Howell announce his passing at his residence in Wesleyville on July 27th, 2023 at the age of 65 years.
He was predeceased by his parents Hayward & Betty Howell and brother-in-law John Dowden.
He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his son Wayne Howell of Mount Pearl, NL.; daughter Holly Howell of St. John’s, NL.; grandchildren Nathan Howell & Anna Howell; brothers: Randy (Donna) of St. Philips, NL., Gordon (Helen) of Valleyfield, NL., Jerry (Nancy) of St. John’s, NL.; sisters: Marilyn of Gambo, NL., Janice (Dennis) of Grand Prairie, AB.; special friends Mike & Dayna Snook, Alb Hounsell and the Hounsell Family.
Bill had a heart of gold and always put everyone above himself. He will be remembered for his wonderfully, fun loving personality, beautiful smile and his love for his family and friends.
In Keeping with Bill’s wishes, cremation has taken place.
Funeral service will be held on Monday August 7th, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. from the Trinity United Church, Newtown officiated by Reverends Lorne & Roberta Bungay with interment to follow at St. Thomas United Church Cemetery, Pound Cove.
