It is with saddened hearts that the family of Wilda Irene McCallum (nee Bryson) announces her peaceful passing. She was predeceased by her husband Vic (1994) and parents Les (1967) and Irene (1985) Bryson. Survived by daughter Jill and her partner Paul Grealis. Wilda will be remembered as a lover of all animals, especially her cats Gus and Blackie. She was an avid bridge player, Sarnia Sting season ticket holder since inception and a loyal friend to many – especially Jean Haggitt, Carol McCullough, Ann Gilliland, Liz McKegan, and her dearest Marilyn Wright whom she shared 70+ years of memories with. Wilda loved day trips and if it was a beautiful day, the Mustang with the top down was the only way to go. She will be deeply missed by all those whose lives she touched. A special thank you to Dr. Pasqualucci, Dr. Way, Dr. MacSweeney, and to nurses Josh, Trisha and Maddi.
Family and friends will be received at Smith Funeral Home, 1576 London Line, Sarnia, on Thursday, January 5, 2023, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held at Smith Funeral Home on Friday, January 6, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow in Moore Union Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Sarnia & District Humane Society or Bluewater Health Foundation would be greatly appreciated (cheques only at the funeral home please).
