Wendy Lynne Weis, (nee Usher), of New Tecumseth is now at ease and her almost 12 month ordeal with cancer is behind her. Her final hours were without pain or distress with loved ones beside her. With continued courage and strength, she passed away at Matthews House Hospice Wednesday April 26, 2023 at 11:15 am
Wendy is survived by her loving family, husband Gordon, sons and daughter Ryan, Linsay and Colby, grandchildren Sarah, Kevin, Mackenzie, Cooper and Adelynn, great grandson, Callum and by brothers Gregory and Jeffrey and their families. Wendy was predeceased by her mother Gwendolynne (nee Chant) and father Douglas Frank Usher
Wendy spent her early working years in banking and later in customer service which she particularly enjoyed, but mostly Wendy was devoted to her family, especially the ‘grandkids’ who were all cherished, loved and constantly spoiled.
Wendy also enjoyed traveling, especially to the UK with her mother Gwen and with Gord, family and friends to the Caribbean islands, California, Florida and the western Canadian provinces.
Her kind, soft and caring nature and approach to life will be truly missed.
