It is with great sadness that we announce the recent passing of Wendy Anne Hawboldt age 69, passed away peacefully at her care home in Cole Harbour Dec 27, 2022
She was born in Halifax on April 16, 1953. The Daughter or Robert McPhee (Glenda) and the late Marjorie McPhee.
Wendy was known for her love of Religion and God; she loved reading her bible. She was kindhearted and kind spirted and loved to help people. She loved going for coffee, taking long walks, and feeding the ducks. She would giggle if you gave her a diet Pepsi as this was her special treat. She also loved getting her hair done and her cable T.V.
Survived by her daughters Cindy (Rory) and Elizabeth (Walter) and son AJ (Kristy), her father Robert (Glenda), her brothers Michael (Nancy) and Danny (Darlene), sister Velvet and sister-in-law Corrina McPhee. Also survived by her grandchildren, Kyle, Matthew, Kaitlynn, Rory Jr, Zachary, and Logan. Fondly remembered by her many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and care workers.
Predeceased by her mother Marjorie, Husband Roger (Kip), brothers Christopher and Peter McPhee and her sister Carol Sonnichsen.
A special thanks to Dr. Moore and the staff at Bissett Court for taking such good care of Wendy.
A Celebration of Life will be announced in the Summer 2023.
