With saddened hearts we announce the passing of Wendell Heber
Cook, beloved husband to Marcia Renee (Bagley) Cook of Grand Manan NB.
Born at Grand Manan NB on September 15, 1942, he was a son of the late
Russell and Faye (Brown) Cook.
A beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother, he is
survived by his beloved Marcia, his loving children: Cantrese (Ian)
Clinch, Kendell Cook and Sarah (Chris) DeMont, his loving
grandchildren: Doug Clinch, Greg (Emily) Clinch, Amber Clinch,
Christine (John) Clinch, Michael Clinch, Jessica Clinch, Daniel
(Tanai)Clinch, Courtney (Devon) Clinch, Sarah Cook, Michael Cook,
Jaimie Cook, Tyson Brown, Kiersten Brown, Brianna Moorehouse, Tristen
Moorehouse, his loving sister; Wanda (Gregg) Russell.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his two
daughters: Nadene and Joanne Cook and by his brother; Albert
Cook.
Prior to his retirement, Wendell worked for several years for
Connors Brothers as a Sealing Machine Operator until his retirement.
Dad was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and going to his camp
on the Milridge with mom every fall. Above all, his beloved Marcia,
his children and grandchildren were his world.
Resting at the Immanuel Family Church, Grand Manan NB with
visiting on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. The service will be held from
the church on Wednesday at 1:00 pm with Rev. Steve Brown and Rev. Ward
McComiskey officiating. Interment will take place in the Hillside
Cemetery in the spring. In Wendell’s memory, donations to a
charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the
family.
