Obituary
Slipped peacefully into Eternal Rest following a brief illness, on Sunday, February 5, 2023, in the presence of his loving family, at Barrie, Ontario, Wayne Joseph White, formerly of St. Mary’s, Newfoundland, in his 62nd year.
Predeceased by his father John Robert White, sister Madonna Kelly, brother Keith White, brother-in-law Lorne Reimer and step-brother Alan Singleton Jr..
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, his devoted and caring mother Marguerite “Marg” Singleton, step-father Alan Singleton Sr.; brothers: Gerard (Denise), John and Neil (Darlene), sister Karen, sister-in-law Brenda Parker, step-brothers Leonard and Johnny Singleton and a large circle of aunts (especially Aunt Catherine), uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A special thank you is extended to Tom and Lily Gillingham for their friendship and support shown to Wayne over the past 15 years.
Wayne graduated from Memorial University with a degree in Education. He then spent the next 33 years in his chosen profession as a teacher.
Cremation has taken place. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, February 17, 2023, at 11am, at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, St. Mary’s. Inurnrment to follow.
