Mrs. Vera Ruth Sharpe “Nanny Grandma” of Upper Island Cove passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family at Carbonear General Hospital on Saturday, December 31, 2022. Mrs. Sharpe was 80 years old.
She leaves to mourn:

The family will be receiving relatives and friends at Slade’s Funeral Home, 424 Cranes Road, Upper Island Cove on Sunday, January 8th: 12 Noon-9 P.M. and Monday, January 9th: 10:30 A.M.-1 P.M.. The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, January 9, 2023 at 2 P.M. from St. Peter’s Anglican Church & Cemetery, Upper Island Cove.
