MICHELI; Velma (nee Cordovado)
Peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on January 1, 2023, in her 98th year. Beloved wife of Alfred for 63 years. Devoted mother of Deborah (Ben) Pankhurst, Robert, and Raymond (Mag). Cherished Nonni of Abraam, Matthew, Georgia Lynne, and Madeline. Great Grandmother of Isla and Anastasia. Visitation will be held at the DeStefano Funeral Home, 1289 Keith Ross Drive, Oshawa (south side of Taunton Road, east of Thornton Road) 905-440-3595 on Tuesday, January 3rd from 7:00pm-9:00pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Gregory the Great Roman Catholic Church, 194 Simcoe Street North, Oshawa on Wednesday, January 4th at 10:30am. Interment to follow at Mt. Hope Catholic Cemetery, Toronto. In memory of Velma, donations may be made to the Lakeridge Health Foundation.
