Greer (Bryant), Valerie Sharon – peacefully passed away in her sleep at the Lindsay Ross Memorial Hospital on Tuesday August 29th, 2023 at the age of 74 after a long battle with cancer. Beloved wife of the late Leonard Greer for over 51 years and special friend to Randy Cooper over the last year. Loving mother of Len and his wife Lisa and Quentin and his wife Kelly. Cherished grandmother of Madelyn, Mitchell, Cameron and Brody. Dear Sister of Leo Bryant (Gwyneth), Gwen Nicholls (late Garth), Sheila Cooper (Holly), Glen Bryant (Elaine), Fern Eason (John), Philip Bryant (Laura) and Denise Magee (Hugh). Sister in law to Lavern (Late Ruby), Grace Pearce (Late Orville), Late Verna Crego (Late Gerry) and Max (Linda). Valerie will be sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews. She will be missed by her friends at the Coby Foodland, her Bingo Buddies Carol, Sandy, Wendy and the Norland community where she shared so many memories. Valerie worked in produce at several Foodland stores for over three decades. Valerie loved the Toronto Blue Jays, the Toronto Maple Leafs, baking, bingo and Christmas! There will be a small family gathering at her home in the upcoming week. Cremation has taken place. In memory of Valerie, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
