In loving memory of Trudy Mae Lemieux (nee McMaster) 68 years. Passed away peacefully at Health Sciences North on Thursday, January 5th, 2023.
Beloved wife of Michel “Mike” Lemieux predeceased in 2006. Loving mother of Angie Lemieux (husband Nick), Kevin Lemieux and Amanda Lemieux, and her precious dog Casey. Daughter of John and Nora McMaster both predeceased. Dear sister of Hughie predeceased (wife Diane), Duncan predeceased (wife Dorice), Terry (wife Cheryl) Cathy (husband Dave predeceased), Randy, Bonita, Ann (Partner Emile), and Libby (husband Gary). She was also loved and will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Trudy loved her family and loved spending time at her camp with her kids. She loved doing puzzles and playing Yahtzee. She also enjoyed her hour-long phone calls with her sisters. Trudy was very well loved, and will be missed by so many people.
Trudy had a love of plants. For those wishing to send flowers, the family requests that the flowers be planters, or for those wishing to make a donation in her memory, donations can be made to Diabetes Canada.
A memorial service will be in that the Lougheed Funeral Home – Hanmer/Capreol Chapel (4605 Michelle Drive, Hanmer) on Saturday, January 14th, 2023 at 1:00 PM. Friends may gather at the funeral home after 11:00 AM on Saturday. She will be entombed in the Valley East Cemetery alongside her husband at a later date.
