Phanomphone “Tounny” Phimsavanh, age 47, of Stratford passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on April 22, 2023. Born in Vientiane, Laos daughter of Somlith Phimsavanh (Panee) of Vanastra and Somphone Lang of Laos. Loving sister of Thomary (Somsy), Nino (Phone), Lily (CJ), Jerry, David (Kayla). Special aunt of Anita, Benjamin, and Ariana. Lovingly remembered by many aunts, uncles, and cousins, nieces and nephews.
Tounny worked at Hayashi Canada of many for years. She was fearless and independent, yet sensitive and incredibly compassionate. She loved the beach, vacations, hiking, walking, baking, dogs and flowers. She will be forever missed.
Visitation will be held for family and friends on Thursday, April 27, from 6-8 p.m. and Friday, April 28, from 6-8 p.m. A memorial service will be held at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 106 Morgan Street, Stratford on Sunday, May 7, at 2 p.m. Donations in Tounny’s memory may be made to the Stratford General Hospital Foundation through the W.G.
