It is with broken hearts that we announce our dear sister, Theresa Marie Sheehan, passed away at her home in Calgary, Alberta, on February 21st, 2023 at 70 years of age. Daughter of the late Harry Thomas Sheehan (1988), and Frances Iris Sheehan (nee Decker) (2000). Cherished sister of Tim Sheehan (Gail), the late Mary Sheehan Birch (2010) (Ken), Mike Sheehan (Carol), the late Matthew Sheehan (1975), Donna Grant (George), Ruth Sheehan, and her close friends Ellen and Gord Maddison. Treasured aunt to Matt, Kristy, Danny, Sean, Aaron, Olivia, Ricky, Tina, Allan, Samantha, Christopher, Jennifer, Theresa, J.R, Ryan, Nathaniel, Rebecca, and beloved great aunt of many great nieces and nephews.
Theresa graduated from Kings College in London, Ontario, with a Bachelor of Social Work, and completed her Masters in Social Work at the University of Windsor. She continued her career in Calgary with Alberta Health Services, working many years serving the community until her retirement.
Theresa was a loving and kind soul who inspired goodness and the joy of giving in all of us. If you desire, please make donations to the Sandwich Teen Action Group (STAG) – 3735 King Street Windsor, Ontario, N9C 1P7.
Cremation has taken place, and a private service was held. Celebration of life to take place at a later date.
