Cox, Terrance (Terry)
A resident of Chatham and long-time business owner of Southern Concrete, Terry Cox peacefully passed away on Monday, January 23, 2023 surrounded by his loving family at home at the age of 73.
He was the son of the late Eric & Doris (nee Mallet) Cox.
Remembered always by his wife, Mary Ann (nee Pinchen).
Proud father of Deana Cox (Charlie), Crystal Cox & Elisa Cox (Kyle).
Predeceased by his son, Kevin Cox (Dec. 2022).
Grandpa T of Kyle (Cassie), Cassandra, Kody, Keegan, Jayden, Jamall, Brayden, & Ava.
Great-grandpa T of Konnor, & Kenzie.
Brother of Rev. Steve Cox (Nancy), the late John Cox, & Judy Cox.
Survived by sister-in-law, Dana Cox and brother-in-law, Bill Pinchen of Simcoe.
Missed by many nieces, nephews & extended family.
The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to Dr. John Leigh, Care Partners of Chatham & the nurses of VON for their care and compassion.
Terry retired in 2006 as business owner of Southern Concrete. He enjoyed writing short stories of the family, golfing, woodworking and spending time with his late dog, Luna.
Family to receive friends on Friday, January 27, 2023 at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham from 1:00 pm until a Celebration of Terry’s life at 2:00 pm. Cremation is to follow.
Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to VON-Chatham Kent.
