It is with heavy hearts and sadness that we announce the passing of Tarsem Lal Kanwar, who
peacefully joined his late wife, Sheila Wa> Kanwar. He leaves behind a legacy of love, wisdom,
and cherished memories that will forever resonate in the hearts of those who knew and loved
him.
Born in Bulanda Punjab, India, he embarked on a new chapter, immigra>ng to Canada. He is
known in his family as Pitaji and his legacy lives on through his four sons and five daughters,
grandchildren and great grandchildren. He imparted wisdom and warmth to each member of
his family.
In his long and purposeful life, Pitaji taught us the importance of love, compassion, and the
significance of family bonds. He leaves a legacy that serves as an enduring reminder of the
values that maGer most in life.
A memorial service to honor Tarsem Lal Kanwar will be held on Wednesday, August 23, 2023,
at 2:00PM at Park Place Funeral Home, 51 Broadway Boulevard, Sherwood Park, Alberta.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects and share in the remembrance of the life
Pitaji lived.

Nearly 2 years without her, Mr. Tarsem Lal Kanwar rejoined Sheila Wa> Kanwar, the love of
his life, on Sunday, August 20, 2023.
Tarsem Lal Kanwar was born in Bulanda Punjab, India (district Jalandhar) and moved to
Canada in 1981. He has four sons and five daughters with grandkids and great grandkids who
all loved him very much.
