Entered into rest at the Belleville General Hospital, on Sunday, January 1, 2023, Doug Skinner of Picton died at the age of 83. He was the son of the late Frank & Vergie Skinner and the beloved husband for 63 years of Sylvia (nee Smith). Doug was the loving father of the late Karen, and the late Curt. He is survived by his daughter-in-law Karen Stone of Perryville, Arkansas. Doug was the brother of the late Lionel (late Paula), Edgar (Joanne) of Marmora, Kerry (Joyce) of Scarborough, and Roy (Delores) of Kingston and he will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews.
Mr. Skinner is resting at Rushnell Funeral Homes – Picton Chapel, 33 Main Street, (613-476-2450) for visitation on Thursday from 2-4 p.m. Funeral Service will be held from Picton Free Methodist Church, 384 Main Street, Picton on Friday, January 6, 2023 at 1 p.m. with visitation for 1 hour before the service in the church. Spring Interment Hicksite Cemetery, Bloomfield. If desired, donations to Cystic Fibrosis in Doug’s memory would be appreciated by the family.
