It is with deep sadness we announce the premature passing of Sherry Agnes Jean King in her 57th year, on Thursday, June 29, 2023 after a courageous battle with cancer. She leaves behind her devoted husband Andrew to join her predeceased parents Joan (nee MacLeish) and Ross “Buzz” Burr.
Born in Lindsay Ontario on September 13, 1965. Sherry and her husband recently relocated to Shelburne, Nova Scotia to continue their entrepreneurial adventures. They left a successful business based in Fenelon Falls; Kawartha Lakes Lift & Truck and turned their talents to a new East Coast adventure; Sea Side Storage.
Sherry loved to travel and was delighted to introduce her parents and husband to many new places in the world.
Sherry endeared herself to all who came in contact with her warm, loving character, her dry humour and her joy of life.
She will be deeply missed by her extended family members, her many dear friends, and numerous loving fur babies.
A Celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 15, 2023 from 1:00 P.M. – 3:00 P.M. at Lakeland Funeral & Cremation Centre (19 Moose Road, Lindsay Ontario, K9V 0A2)
