The passing of Sheila Mary Ann Barlow of Fredericton , NB , wife of Gerald Barlow occurred on Thursday, June 1, 2023 at Fredericton Hospice House. Born on March 24, 1946 in Fredericton , NB , she was the daughter of the late Fred and Clara Paul. She loved to paint, play bingo and spend time with her family. She will be missed by her life long faithful companion, Sheva.
In addition to her husband, Sheila is survived by her children, Nelson Barlow (Bonnie), Arlene Brooks (Randy), Kirk Barlow (Joanne) and Ambyr Bartlett (granddaughter) all of Fredericton, NB; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her daughters, Rowena Sharpe and Jeannie Brooks; sisters, Alexa Paul and Berna Paul; brothers, Franklin Paul, Walter Paul, Theodore Paul and Fred Paul Jr.
Visitations will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Sunday, June 4, 2023 from 7-9 pm and Monday, June 5 2023 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The Funeral Mass will take place at St. Anthony’s Roman Catholic Church on Tuesday, June 6, 2023 at 11 am with Father Maria Arokiam Chinnappan as celebrant. Interment will take place in St. Anthony’s Cemetery at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to Fredericton Hospice (Palliative Care Resource Network Inc.)
