Sheila Janel McNulty “Jan”, after a brief illness, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 6th, 2023 with family by her side at Chatham Kent Health Alliance. Born in Etobicoke 62 years ago, she was the daughter of John and Joan McNulty (nee Proctor). Mother of Katie Vince (Bill Bryan) of Lindsay, Heather Vince (Scott Rauwerda) of Chatham, and Suzy Farmer (Kevin Myers) of Nova Scotia. Sister of Jill Craven (Stefan Loker) of London. Jan will also be missed by her nieces Rebecca Craven (Cody Grimes) of Woodstock, and Laura Craven (Liam Brennan) of Glasgow Scotland, her aunt Judy Joyce, and cousins Allison Joyce-McRae (Derek), Craig Joyce (Jules), and Taylor Joyce.
Jan worked for many years with Enbridge and Greenfield Ethanol in Chatham, using her well honed administrative and computer skills to contribute to daily operations. Her artistic passions also lead her to assist in several Theatre Kent productions over the years in costume design and backstage dynamics. One of Jan’s last volunteer chapters was the International Plowing Match and Rural Expo. Jan always enjoyed looking after all her doggy friends and could be counted on to spoil them. She will be deeply missed by all those who loved her.
In lieu of flowers a memorial donation can be directed using the link below. A celebration of Jan’s life will be arranged and announced at a later date.
