Sharon Keels
1955-2023
On Sunday March 26, 2023 the Lord held out his
hand and called an Angel home. Sharon Keels passed
peacefully in her home surrounded by her loving family at the age of
67.
Born October 25th 1955 on Bell Island,
Newfoundland. Predeceased by her Parents, Margaret & Charles
O’Leary, Parents-in-law, Mary & Lawrence Keels,
& several family members.
Left to mourn her; loving husband John of 50
years, beautiful daughter Karen & husband Ronnie, adoring
grandsons Cole and Jeffrey, sisters; Sandra & Doug Fader,
Rosalind Hurley & Ern Goodyear, Cynthia Bursey, brother Bill
O’Leary; numerous nieces, nephews, sisters &
brothers-in-law, and her best friend Debbie (Eddy)
Hickey.
Sharon had a beautiful life filled with love, happiness and
joy. Her love for family is evident in all the wonderful
memories she has left behind.
Forever in our hearts, and the beautiful soul who
took pieces of our hearts with her. She will be remembered
not only as a Daughter, Sister, Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Aunt but as
a lifelong friend. Soar with the Angels you beautiful soul,
this is not our “Good-bye” but our “Till we meet
again…”
We, John & Karen have so much gratitude
for Sharon’s two sisters Sandra and Rosalind for making
their baby sister smile, laugh and feel as comfortable as she could in
her last few weeks at home; we are truly blessed. We would
also like to thank the numerous Doctors, Nurses and Extra Mural team
that showed such kindness and compassion over the last 7 years with
Sharon’s battle with cancer.
The funeral service will be held at the Salisbury
Funeral Home, 3350 Route 106 (506-372-4800) on Friday, March 30 at 11
am with Father Charles Broderick officiating.

charity of choice would be appreciated.
