Severino Floreancig
It is with great sadness and broken hearts that we announce the passing of Severino Giovanni Floreancig on December 31, 2022.
He passed away peacefully at the age of 94 surrounded by his loving family.
He is survived by his devoted and loving wife Maria of 63 years, daughters Cecilia, Luisa (Tim), Luciana, Dina (Salvatore), granddaughter Danielle (Boyfriend Robert), his loving cats Bobo and Luna, his sister Anita (Antonio) in Italy, sister-in-law Vanda, brothers in law Michele and Antonio, nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.
He is preceded by his parents Andrea and Cecilia, brother Luigi (Assunta), his sister Rosina (Ionies), Marta (Roberto), Mother-in-law Gerarda, Father-in-law Donato, numerous family members and close friends.
The family would like to thank all his home care workers who attended to his daily needs. We also want to thank all the staff at the Royal Alexandra hospital, specifically the emergency room staff and unit 24, as well as the AHS and Edmonton First Responders who took care of our dad during his final days. A special thank you also to Capital Care McConnel place North and Dr. Trent Dusang.

Prayer services to take place on Wednesday January 4th, 2023, at 7:30 PM at Santa Maria Goretti Roman Catholic Church, 9110-110Ave Edmonton, AB. Funeral Mass to take place on Thursday, January 5th, 2023, at 10:00 AM, also at Santa Maria Goretti Roman Catholic Church. Christian Burial to take place at St. Michael’s Cemetery 13819-82 street.
