Ruth L. Bourdeau
1935-2023
The death of Ruth Lorraine Bourdeau occurred on Monday, January 2,
2023 at the River View Manor, Bath. Ruth was born June 10, 1935 in
Stickney and was the daughter of the late Hollie and Eva (Hunter)
Chase. She was also predeceased by her beloved husband, Maurice and 7
siblings, Paul, Carl, Dean, Ray, Mildred, Pearl and Fay.
Ruth loved animals and tending her plants. Although she spent much of
her life in Ontario raising a family and working as a Registered
Nurses Assistant she retired in 1999 and moved back to New
Brunswick.
Ruth is survived by her son, Richard Bourdeau (Shannon); 3 grandsons,
David Bourdeau (Caroline), Jeffrey Bourdeau(Sherry) and James
Bourdeau; 6 great grandchildren, Ethan, Evelyn, Emma, Nikolas, Lucas
and Alexis; her dear friend and companion, Clinton Fisher as well as
several nieces, nephews and extended family.
Ruth was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Respecting Ruth’s wishes, there will be no formal services. Ruth will
be taken back to Ontario to be interred with her husband, Maurice.
Donations made to River View Manor in Ruth’s memory would be
appreciated.
Ruth’s family would like to thank the Nurses and Staff at River View
Manor for their care and compassion shown during her stay there.
