The passing of Russell Ross Estey of Zealand, NB, husband of the late Gretchen (Brewer) Estey occurred on Sunday, January 1, 2023 at Lake George, NB. Born on January 20, 1932 in Perth, NB, he was the son of the late Ross and Gladys (Brewer) Estey. Russell was a driver for Industrial Trucking Ltd.
Russell is survived by his daughter, Twila Joy Estey (Edward Kranenburg); grandson, Drake Charles Estey Henderson; siblings, Eugene Estey (Maureen), Doris McGivney (late Charles), Donna Murdock (late Bobby) and Dale Estey (Sheila); several nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife and parents, he was predeceased by an infant sibling; sisters, Georgia Brewer and Anna Estey; brothers, Merle Estey and George Estey.
Visitation will take place at Stone Ridge Pentecostal Church, 129 Upper Stone Ridge Road, Zealand, NB on Friday, January 6, 2023 from 11:30-1:30 pm followed by the Funeral Service at 2 pm with Rev. Terrance Brewer officiating with Rev. Dale Brewer assisting. Interment will take place in Stone Ridge Community Cemetery, Zealand at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of the donor’s choice. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
