A resident of Chatham, Ross Leeson passed away at Windsor Regional Hospital – Ouellette Campus on Thursday, August 24, 2023 at the age of 66.
He was the son of the late Jim & Helen (nee Jones) Leeson.
Remembered always by his wife, Nicole Van Der Molen (nee Baribeau).
Father of Christopher Leeson, Roxanne Metcalfe (Brock), Shawn Van Der Molen (Sarah).
Gramps of Caitlyn Metcalfe, Logan Van Der Molen, & Decklynd Trudgeon.
Brother of Nancy Richardson (John), Bill Leeson (Ruth Anne), Harold Leeson (Denise), Dennis Leeson and the late Frank Leeson (1973).
Son-in-law of Jules & Marcelle (nee Gauthier) Baribeau. Brother-in-law of Serge Baribeau (Cécile), the late Normand Baribeau (1980), Jean-Marc Baribeau (Deborah), Denis Baribeau (Teresa), & Pierre Baribeau (Colleen).
Missed by many nieces, nephews & extended family.
Ross worked for Preferred Transport for over 25 years as a Truck Driver. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, camping and spending afternoons with friends. Ross was always one to lend a helping hand to anyone who may have needed it. His generosity and kind nature will be forever missed by all who knew him.
As per Ross’ wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation or a charity of ones choice.
