With saddened hearts, we announce the passing of Rosemary Brown in her 77th year, at the Chatham Kent Health Alliance on Saturday, Dec 31, 2022, with her daughter and son-in-law by her side. Cherished daughter of the late William and Margaret Ebere. Loving mother and best friend to Susanne Brown (Russ). Loving and cherished nana to Cameron Gagnier (Taylor). Cherished stepmother to Barb Brown, Don Brown (Rose), Mike Brown (Wendy), and Karen Pugh (Brian). Dear sister of Jacquie Jeffrey (Larry), Bob Ebere (Luanne), Jim Ebere (Nancy), Betty Wilson, Ruthann Eagan (Jerry), and the late Bill Ebere. She will also be lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Our family would like to extend special appreciation for Rosemary’s long time friends, Mary Gagnier, the late Ruth Cooper, and the late Marilyn Homeniuk.
Rosemary worked as a banquet server/bartender at the Wheels Inn, you could always catch her dancing behind the bar.
She also worked at the cafeteria at the Eaton Yale Factory, those guys kept her in line. Rosemary had the biggest, strongest heart, would do anything for anyone, had many battles with her health, but always managed to pull through!!
Wherever Rosemary was her daughter and best friend Susanne was not far behind. Rosemary always had her Bacardi Rum and Coke, Rothmans cigarettes, and Harlequin romance books in hand. Rosemary’s family will be remembering her privately.
