Obituary of Ron Harvey

Ronald “Ron” Harvey beloved husband of Susan Harvey (nee Brown) of Calgary, Alberta, passed away on Sunday, July 23, 2023 at the age of 77 years.
Ron was born in Wagga Wagga , NSW Australia on January 21, 1946.
He joined the Canadian Armed Forces, and served for 25 years, as a medic and lab technician. He was stationed in Ottawa, Cold Lake, Downsview, Portage la Prairie and Calgary.
Ron married Susan on November 2, 1974.
Ron enjoyed curling, computers, and golf, and he was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion.
Some of Ron’s favourite times were spent in Rivers, Manitoba on the family farm and with family in Mexico. He will be most remembered for being a gentle and humorous, family-oriented man.
Besides his loving wife, Ron is survived by his daughter Michelle Harvey (Tami Pretty) of Calgary; grandson Darren Harvey (Molly Rudolph) of Nova Scotia; great-grandchildren Leo and Anderson; brothers Blane Harvey (Susan) of Mexico, and Bill Harvey (Debbie) of Ontario; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Ron was predeceased by his parents Lillian and Leslie Harvey, and son Mark Harvey.
The family would like to thank the nurses and doctors from unit 62 at the Foothills Medical Centre for their care and compassion.
