With great sadness, the Clark and Armstrong families announce the passing of Ronald James Clark on February 21, 2023, after battling a lengthy illness at age 73.
Ron was born on November 15, 1949, to Alfred and Anne Clark (both predeceased) of Hamilton.
Ron is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Nancy of North Bay (nee Armstrong); brother David (Marilyn Eustace) of Ottawa; sister-laws Debbie Pattison (Ted), Dorene Jennings (Jack-predeceased), Ruth Armstrong (Stewart-predeceased). Predeceased by brother-in-law Ron Armstrong.
Ron also leaves behind many nieces and nephews whom he enjoyed sharing many travel and life stories with.
Ron and Nancy have many fond memories and dear friends in Meaford and these friends faithfully supported both of them during this past year. A special thanks to the doctors and nurses for their excellent care during this time.
Also, a big thank you to all the support staff who took the time to brighten the many days Ron spent in the North Bay Regional Health Centre.
After retiring from the manufacturing and recycling industry, Ron enjoyed travelling with Nancy, especially to Cuba. He also would travel far and wide for a good fishing hole to wet a line. He was a kind, knowledgeable, and friendly soul and often adopted stray animals to care for, especially beagles.
As per Ron’s wishes, there will no service or visitation.
