ROBINSON, Alfred Gordon
August 4, 1941 – February 15th, 2023
It is with great love and sorrow that we announce the passing of Gordon on February 15th,
2023. Gordon was surrounded by his loving family at St. Joseph’s Healthcare in Hamilton,
Ontario. He will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his wife Janeann, his daughter
Deborah, his cherished granddaughters, Kassandra and Carley (Josh) and adoring great
grandson Huxley. He also leaves behind his sisters Judy ‘Babs’ (Brian) and Karen (Leonard),
stepchildren, Dale, Julie and Ted (Debbie) and beloved extended family. Gordon was
predeceased by his parents George and Sophia Robinson, brother Robert and stepdaughter
Karen.Gordon stood tall and strong, living an extremely good and full life. He worked for the Canadian
National Railway for more than 30 years, after retirement he kept busy driving truck. His second
attempt at retirement stuck and he spent his later years enjoying his family and passions which
included, hunting, fishing, ATVing, woodworking, playing cards and ensuring his lawn was cut in
a straight line.
Gordon was kind, generous and a well-known man in the community who was
always willing to help his friends and family.
A Celebration of Life will be held March 11th, 2023 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at The Royal
Canadian Legion Branch 159 Cayuga, Ontario. Online condolences jwhartfuneralhome.com
