Peacefully at Copper Terrace Long Term Care, Chatham, on Saturday July 1st, 2023, “Keith” Campbell of Merlin passed away in his 90th year. Cherished son of the late Shirley and Zelma Campbell. Dear cousin of Rick Campbell and his wife Linda. Keith will be missed by many wonderful and supportive friends. He worked for years at the Campbell Red and White Grocery Market in Merlin along side his father in the family business. Keith was an avid outdoorsman all year round. In the spring and summer, he played tennis, golf, and loved fishing and boating. You could see Keith regularly at Erieau and Rondeau on his boat “Alice”. In the fall, Keith enjoyed duck hunting with his close buddies. And during the winter, he enjoyed downhill skiing. He spent many days in Collingwood, Ontario with his ski pals. Thank you to the 2 East staff at Copper Terrace for the wonderful care and support given to Keith over the last 8 months, and their compassion and assistance during his final days and hours. Family and friends are invited to the Alexander & Houle Funeral Home, 245 Wellington St. West, Chatham, 519-352-2710, on Wednesday July 5th, 2023, with visiting from 11:30 am to 1pm. The funeral service will follow at 1 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Interment Merlin, Cemetery.
