Obituary
Passed peacefully away at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre on Monday, June 5, 2023, Robert Jude Day of Grand Falls-Windsor. He was 60 years of age. Robert is predeceased by his parents, Annie and Michael Day and his sister Elizabeth Day. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, his son, David (Tasha) Thorne; sisters, Cathy (Dwayne), Diane (Jim) Nancy and Rosemary; brothers, Lloyd (Lisa), Bill (Michelle), Steve (Christine). John (Bonnie) Tom (Crystal) and Michael; his three grandchildren, Karissa, Alaura and Landyn, as well as a circle of other relatives and friends.
The funeral service will take place at St. Joseph’s Parish in Grand Falls-Windsor on Friday, June 9th at 11am, with interment to follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery. Pallbearers will be David Thorne, Tom Day, Christopher Wheeler, Dwayne Dancey and Tom Corbin.
Robert was always an active man. He loved riding his bike, and chances were, he had some beer in his front basket. Robert loved his family dearly, and wanted to help any way he could. He will be dearly missed by his family both near and far.
