In his 70th year
Robert was born in Wingham, Ontario, son of the late Wallace and Helen Andrew (nee Miller). Survived by his wife and soul mate Lori Bruce. Robert was one of four boys predeceased by Allan, survived by Brian and wife Jacquie, Craig and wife Sandy. Father of Kirk (Cara), Chelsey (Kyle) and Kiersten (Ben). Stepfather to Lianne (Matt) and Lindsey (Kevin). Grandfather to Corbin, McKenna and Madison. Step-Papa to Henry and Callie. Robert worked as Head of Maintenance and Electrical for Ragu Peterborough for 29 years. He continued working in the electrical business for 10 more years. Robert’s heart and soul went into building his dream home on the shores of Lower Buckhorn Lake. He was happiest on the water, never missing the opportunity to teach his girls and their friends the fine art of waterskiing. Robert loved his sports. He rarely missed the Leaf’s game! Robert’s seasons consisted of golf, football and then hockey. Music was a huge part of his life, and his tunes could be heard from dockside many afternoons and into the evenings around his campfires.
