Ritcharde was born in Calgary, Alberta on October 5, 1963 to Helen (Sueko Kanashiro) and Jack Peters. He passed away suddenly in Edmonton, Alberta on May 23, 2023.
He leaves to mourn his wife Mabel (Parsons) Peters, his two sons Jean-Norman and Garland Peters, his sisters Jackie (Ronald Kees) Peters, Jodi Sharuga, and Dawna (Steven) OnDrik, half-sister Emily Peters, brothers-in-law Daniel (Josie) Parsons and Sidney (Ada) Parsons, and a large circle of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and friends.
He was predeceased by his parents Jack Peters, Helen Low (Sueko Kanashiro), stepfather Alan Low, brother Gregory Peters, grandparents Kami (Teruya) and Yasataro Kanashiro, Pete Peters and Emily (Hamilton, McFarland) Ashmore, brother-in-law Eric Parsons, and in-laws Norman and Florence (Major) Parsons.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, July 19, 2023 at Christensen Salmon Generations Funeral Home at 12:00 noon, with Bishop Kevin Wert officiating. Interment will follow in the Royal View Cemetery, North Lethbridge.
