Malott: Richard Irvine-
A resident of Ridgetown, Rick Malott passed away at the Chatham-Kent Hospice on January 23, 2023 with his loving family at his side at the age of 70.
Born in Chatham, Rick was the son of Geraldine (nee Lowes) and the late Irvine Malott.
Beloved husband of 50 years to Gwendolyn (nee Fraser).
Dear father to Kevin Malott (Bonnie) and Karen Malott. Proud grandfather to Sidney and Phoenix Robitaille; and Emily Malott.
Brother of Murray Malott (Anne), Sue King (Bill), Pat Malott (Brenda), Mark Malott (Jackie), Chris Turner (Mac). Brother-in-law to Paul and Sandy Fraser, Gary and Diane Fraser, Candy Lynch and the late Dennis Fraser. Rick will also be dearly missed by many nieces, nephews and friends.
In keeping with Rick’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of his life will take place at a later date.
Donations made in memory of Rick to the Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
