Regis Christie passed away Saturday, December 31, 2022, at the Baddeck Urgent Care Hospital in Baddeck, after a strongly fought battle with stage 4 cancer.
Regis was born the middle child of 19 children to William and Gladys Fitzgerald, on June 9th, 1939.
She was a long-time resident of Englishtown but lived her last years at her retirement apartment, where she had many friends, especially her besty Kay.
Regis was ‘Mom’ to more children than she ever had and was ‘Auntie’ to even more. Fiery and honest made her endearing to everyone. To say she will be missed is a grand understatement.
Regis was predeceased by her husband of 63 years Patsy, her first son Eugene and 2 infant children Alex and Mary. She is survived by her youngest son, Shannon.
