Rae Salter-Blaker
1950 – 2023
Rae Salter-Blaker of Miramichi, passed away at her residence on February 13, 2023 at the age of 72.
Born in Belleville, ON, on April 28, 1950, she was the daughter of the late William and Elizabeth (Dornan) Salter. Rae worked as a Warehouse worker for a while and also did some book keeping. Later on in her life she was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Rae is survived by her daughter, Sandra Vais (Timothy) of Baie-Ste-Anne; two sons: Duncan Salter of Regina, SK and Rodney Salter of Calgary, AB; grandchildren: Conner Howe and Sean Howe (Gillian); her nieces & nephews; as well as her extended family: Sherry Harris, David Harris, Cassie Harris (daughter, Korha & son, Hazen), Brady Harris (daughter, Brielle), Tanikka Harris, Hilda & Bill Harris. She was predeceased by her parents, husbands: Michael LeBlanc and Michael Blaker and daughter, Christine.
At Rae’s request there will be no visitation or funeral service.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to NB Extra Mural or Miramichi SPCA would be appreciate by the family.
