With great sadness we share the passing of Patricia Winnifred Lawrence who passed away at Heart of Hastings Hospice, Madoc on July 16, 2023 in her 91st year.
Beloved wife of Alan Lawrence for 67 years.
Loving mother of Steve (Pam), Tom (Kristen), Gina Cranley (Kevin) and Kim DeGuerre (Greg).
Much adored Nanny of Ben (Jennifer), April, Camden, Kailey (Derek), Kelsey, Hudson, Victoria, Monica, Gavin, Colleen and Great-Nanny Jacob, Gracelyn, Adeline, Kinsley, Bryce, Boden and Braylon.
Pat was born in Pickering to Winnifred and Gordon Deeth. She was the second of four children. Dear sister of Donna Gordon (Ken) and the late Ronald (Betty), and late Gordon (Doreen).
Pat will be lovingly remembered by Al’s family and many nieces and nephews.
Pat was very involved in the Pentecostal Church’s in Oshawa, Marmora and Stirling over the years. Working in and organizing many programs for women and children and playing piano for worship. In recent years she organized a quilting group which made and sent many quilts to Guatemala and other places of need.
Family and friends are invited to Rushnell Funeral Home, 9 Bursthall Street, Marmora on Tuesday, July 25, 2023 from 5-8 pm. Funeral Service will be held at the Marmora Pentecostal Church, 53 Madoc St, Marmora on Wednesday at 11am. Interment Zion Cemetery. Donations to Heart of Hastings Hospice, Madoc would be appreciated.
