Patricia ‘’Patsy’’ Morin (née Duchesne) of Bonfield, Ontario passed away on January 14, 2023, at the age of 79 years, surrounded by her loving family.
Patsy was predeceased by her parents Pleina Demers and Eusèbe Duchesne, siblings Rita Amyotte (Gérard), Urbain (Jeanne d’arc), Gérald (Jeannette), Bertrand (Elzire), Lorient (Joan), Argentine (Robert Vaillancourt), Théodore and Léodore.
She is survived by her husband Maurice, sister Pierrette Lafantaisie (Conrad) and her twin brother Patrick (Cécile), her children Marc (Pierre), Jude (Mireille), Micheline (Martin) and Grégoire (Andrea), along with her grandchildren Zachary and Manon and great grandchild Théodore, as well as many nieces and nephews and other loved ones.
Patsy’s health failed over the last few months but she remained so strong throughout that few knew the struggles she overcame, a tribute to her indomitable spirit and strength.
She will be lovingly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
The family would like to extend special thanks to Dr Lyndsay Michelle Berardi (family physician) and Dr Sylvie Brûlé for the palliative home care provided and her exceptional support to the family.
As per her wishes no ceremony will be held. The family invites those who wish to do so to make a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society.

C’est avec un immense regret que nous vous faisons part du décès de Patricia ‘’Patsy’’ Morin (née Duchesne) de Bonfield, Ontario le 14 janvier 2023, à l’âge de 79, entourée par sa famille dévouée.
Patsy est prédécédée par ses parents Pleina Demers et Eusèbe Duchesne, ses soeurs et frères Rita Amyotte (Gérard), Urbain (Jeanne d’arc), Gérald (Jeannette), Bertrand (Elzire), Lorient (Joan), Argentine (Robert Vaillancourt), Théodore and Léodore.
Elle laisse dans le deuil son mari Maurice, sa sœur Pierrette Lafantaisie (Conrad) et son frère jumeau Patrick (Cécile), ses enfants Marc (Pierre), Jude (Mireille), Micheline (Martin) et Grégoire (Andrea), ses petits-enfants Zachary et Manon et son arrière-petit-fils Théodore de même que plusieurs nièces, neveux et autres proches.
La santé de Patsy s’est détériorée au cours des derniers mois mais elle est demeurée tellement stoïque que peu connaissaient les luttes qu’elle a surmontées, un hommage à son esprit et sa force indomptable.
C’était une véritable force qui laissera certainement un grand vide autour d’elle.
La famille tient à remercier Dre Lyndsay Michelle Berardi (médecin de famille) et Dre Sylvie Brûlé pour les soins palliatifs fournis à domicile et son soutien exceptionnel à la famille.
Selon ses souhaits, aucune cérémonie n’aura lieu. La famille invite ceux qui le souhaite à faire un don à la Société canadienne du cancer.
