Passed away at the Foyer Notre Dame on Monday August 28, 2023 at the age of 94 years, Opal Sarah Turnbull (nee Lee), of Treherne MB.
Opal leaves to mourn her passing sons Grant (Michelle) of White Rock B.C., Everett (Esther) of Sliema, Malta, daughter Joan Turnbull of Treherne, MB; grandchildren Andrew (Julie), Carl (Natalia), Jennifer (Andres), Alexander; great grandchildren Judah, Abigail, Anna Bella, Landon, Hudson & Lucy. She is also survived by brother Maurice (Dolores) Lee, sisters-in-law Phyllis Lee, Laura Lee, Rhoda Lee & Lucille Hogg, brother-in-law Ronald (Audrey) Turnbull as well as numerous extended relatives & friends. Opal was predeceased by her husband Ken (2015), parents Howard & Sarah Lee, step-mother Mary (Nattras), brothers Jack, Doug, Cliff, sisters Chris (Warren), Margaret (Downey), sisters-in-law Francis McKee, Phyllis Turnbull, brothers-in-law Ross Turnbull, Glen Turnbull, Wally Warren, Keith Gorrie, Keith Howie, Frank McKee and William Hogg.
Funeral services will be held on Friday September 1, 2023 at 2:00 pm in the Treherne United Church with Heather Grobb & Dr. Andrew Turnbull (Minister) officiating. Interment to follow in the Woodlands Cemetery. Friends that so desire, memorial donations can be made in Opal’s memory to the Tiger Hills Area Foundation, Box 342 Treherne MB or the Treherne United Church, Treherne MB, R0G 2V0.
