Olga’s Obituary
Olga Fedoruk of Fairview, Alberta passed away April 22nd, 2023 at the age 88 years. Olga was born in Highland Park March 23rd, 1935.
She was predeceased by her husband Bill (2023), parents Frank (2000) and Annie (1987) Bawkowy, daughter Carol (2015), as well as brothers Orest (1990) and Matt (2016).
She is survived by her son Bryan (Grande Prairie) and sister Rose Lovsin (Calgary).
Olga met the love of her life, Bill, in 1952. They were married July 27th, 1955 and lived nearly all of the next 67 years on a farm near the banks of the beautiful Peace River. As is the case with most people of their generation, Olga and Bill worked hard to keep the family farm viable. Olga was an amazing cook, grew a fabulous garden, raised poultry and kept the house spotless.
A memorial for Olga and Bill, (who passed away January 28th of this year) will be held Monday, June 5th at 1:00pm from the United Church in Fairview. Interment to follow at Highland park Cemetery.
The family would like to thank the staff at the Homesteader Lodge in Hines Creek, as well as the doctors, nurses & staff at the Fairview Hospital.
