Nora Mitchell (nee Hill), originally of Montreal, Quebec, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family,
on June 8, 2023, in Lacombe, Alberta. She is survived by her children, Eric, Sheila (Allan Lussier), Kathryn (Daniel Buehler), Cynthia and Hazel. She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren, Robyn (Chris), Laurina (Gaetan), Jeremy (Lacy), Derrick (Amanda), Hayden, Kelsey (Kylie) and Brian; her great-grandchildren, Madisyn, Evan, Sawyer and Nathan, along with nieces and nephews. Nora is predeceased by her husband, Robert and sisters, Ruth Lawton and Marjorie Hyland. A visitation will be held at Parkland Funeral Home, 6287 – 67A Street, Red Deer, Alberta, on Sunday, June 11, 2023 at 1:00 pm. Interment will take place at Pine Hill Cemetery, Magog, Quebec, at a later date. Donations to the Red Deer Humane Society would be greatly appreciated. “Up, up, up, past the Russell Hotel.
